Questions, answered
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool processes files inside your browser using local JavaScript libraries. Nothing is sent to us, nothing is made public, nothing is used for advertising. The only network activity is downloading the free open-source libraries themselves (and, for background removal, an on-device AI model).
What are the limits?
80 MB per file, OCR capped at ~10 pages per run for speed, and PPTX with heavy animations converts as text/images only. Every tool states its limits up front — no surprises.
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
Yes, and no. No sign-up, no payment, no ads, no watermarks in this phase.
Which browsers work best?
The latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. AVIF export and HEIC decoding work best in Chromium-based browsers; you'll get a clear message if a format isn't supported.
